Anyway, i'll leave the blogging of this event for another day. But let me leave the night with this poem by Emily Dickinson.

There's been a death in the opposite house
As lately as today.
I know it by the numb look
Such houses have alway.
The neighbours rustle in and out,
The doctor drives away.
A window opens like a pod,
Abrupt, mechanically;
Somebody flings a mattress out, -
The children hurry by;
They wonder if It died on that, -
I used to when a boy.
The minister goes stiffly in
As if the house were his,
And he owned all the mourners now,
And little boys besides;
And then the milliner, and the man
Of the appalling trade,
To take the measure of the house.
There'll be that dark parade
Of tassels and of coaches soon;
It's easy as a sign, -
The intuition of the news
In just a country town.
If you're freaked out, do yourself a favour... Don't log in for the next week or so. :P

Sorry to hear about your close relative, Coral.
Yeah, no one actually talk about death.. ironically. We don't know what's going to happen in the future, but for sure, death is inevitable. Yet, no one talks about it, except when things go wrong we use 'die lor', or 'sei lor' or 'sei sei sei' in cantonese.
Death, is nothing but another great adventure - Dumbledore from Harry Potter.
But death.. is scary. Very scary.
Ohh.. wahh.. Thanks for linking. :) Appreciate it very much!
I've link you too!
Thanks Drumsticks. Yaloh, why do we say the very words which are what we want to avoid? Ha.. I do believe that things will turn out better if we say positive words and be optimistic. Thanks for your link too. :)
i dont like death...period..celebration of a full life filled..i dont get it. death is death :(
Bengbeng, our bodies are only temporary vessels. It's our spirit that will live on... eternally in heaven or hell. Jesus said, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep." (Mark 5:39) Nonetheless, we were saddened by the demise of our loved one. That's human nature.
