2007's STPM result which was released yesterday was not encouraging. Malaysian Examinations Council (MEC) chairman Prof Datuk Dzulkifli Abdul Razak said 25 candidates obtained As in all five subjects taken last year compared to 34 in 2006.
“Urban candidates performed better in both the Science and Arts streams with 13.71% obtaining all As compared to 4.62% in the rural areas,” he said. He said this could be due to a lack of facilities and infrastructure when asked why there was a difference.
I say there are more to that reason (or excuse?)
