Yup, every time election is here, you'll see men-at-work upgrading roads. Yesterday, I was caught in a massive jam that lasted 40 minutes because I had to take a detour as the Oya Road Polyclinic was not passable. They could have chosen a better time than 5 pm.

I was a bit taken aback to see this huge poster of PKR's candidate for P.212 Lim Chin Chuang as I was manoeuvring through a bend. I have not read about him in the English dailies. Later, I learnt that he has quit his job as an electrician and promised to donate his monthly salary if he wins the election. So, with him out of the job and his salary donated, what will he live on?

I wish they would raise the sunken road in front of my house too. Then I will definitely vote JKR.
