Okie, that was a quickie! Gotta catch up on some marking now. Tomorrow is Agong's Birthday. Many Happy Returns to DYMM Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia (and the 16th Sultan of the state of Terengganu). So how much did you spend on all that? Are those things a luxury or a necessity?
With the rebate, somebody calculated that we may need to pay an additonal RM50-60 every month only (much less than what u've spent, I'm sure!)after the petrol price increase. May be a pinch for the lower income group, but for people who can go shopping, that's kacang only!!!!
Btw, are they going to give a rebate according to the size of the vehicles? The bigger the cc, the less the rebate??? I certainly hope so!!!
Hehe.. my hands are still cold from the morning air and already got lecture from Cikgu Arthur. To answer that, I spent about RM200 on those. But I don't buy these 'luxuries', as you call them, every month. Only when I see nice ones and not overly priced.
The rebate is only for cars with less than 2000 cc. So I'm in! An additional RM50-60 every month after the increase... there goes my facial/hair treatment. Boo-hoo-hoo!
oOoh, I love the black strappy shoes! :) Niceeee!!
But a lot will need to be sacrificed after this ... haih, bilalah gaji aku nak naik ni? huhuhu luckily I don't have to pay for the car's monthly installment anymore. I'll just stick with my old-dented-everywhere Iswara Aeroback. :P
love the clips and the butterfly ring!! ahhh feel like shopping already after seeing your pix.. haha..
melbie..'old-dented-everywhere Iswara Aeroback' this sounds so familiar like i know where to find one.. yeahhh outside the house lorr... we have the same dented everywhere iswara.. hahahah
Hehe.. thanks Melbie and Drumsticks. It takes a woman to know another woman's heart. You go girls!
I'll pay off my final car instalment by the end of the yr, had thought of going for the new Vios, but now looks like I'll hv to stick with my old- dented-though-not-everywhere-YET Kenari Aerosport. Hahaha...
I have been driving my 1.3 Wira for...around 15 years now. No problem at all. If u are spending a lot on repairs, by all means, get a new car! Otherwise if you have any spare money, invest in land or a house. The value appreciates while the car depreciates...the very moment you drive it out of the car showroom! Or just save in the bank. At least you get 3-4% interest from fixed deposits! Something is better than nothing!
Aha, I hv someone who keeps reminding me of the appreciation/depreciation thingy each time I mention abt getting a new car.. a foochow hubby. Hehe..
Ever wondered why the Foochows are so rich??? Most of them, that is! Not me!!!! LOL!!!
Btw, your outer layer transparent against the flowery backdrop affects the quality of ur photos...not so nice lah!!! Eeee...the word verification is "momoh"...as in "am mo moh"! LOL!!!
STP, which part of you is Foochow? Definitely not the surname. So, what's your version of why the Foochows are rich?
My photos r taken with my old N80, not that nice anyway. Btw my b'day is on 21/9.. wink wink.. hehe.. where did i learn that from huh? lol..
Am mo moh because the host is from the dark side? Hahaha...
I'm 75% Foochow, 25% Melanau. Foochows are calculative and excellent when it comes to making money...but unfortunately I think in my case, the 25% is more dominant! That's why so poor lor!!! LOL!!!
Yakah? I tot u're a Hokkien leh by ur surname. Do u speak good Foochow? I think ur Foochow is as good as mine (or as bad) Hahaha.. Btw, poor ppl dun dine at Ruby and hotels and other posh places hoh..
I don't speak Foochow...and Ruby's comparatively cheap (estimate RM10-12 per head)and Garden too (fish and chips RM11, Lamb chop RM14...other places IN SIBU, over RM20) but will only go for a good reason, like got visiotrs, poor starving anak coming home from that God-forsaken place.... Other times, I cook...all-in-one dish!!! Got veg, meat, carbs!!! LOL!!!
Hehe.. i must learn to be a wise spender like STP. What's that serenity prayer again? Gee, i need to jot it down lah.. hehe..
