My Favourite Snacks

It's Ching Ming today and to me it's an opportunity to catch up on my sleep. Yeah, 6 hours of daily sleep is definitely not enough for me. I've taken a 1/2 hour and another 1 1/2 hour naps before the clock struck 1:00 pm. :P

Breakfast today was my usual MAS Corner Laksa.

Lunch was these:

The "rojak tambi/hindi" consists of cucumber, bean sprouts, tauhu pok (dry type of bean curd) and fried kuih (mixture of flour, long beans and shallots). Its peanut gravy is similar to satay sauce.

Roti canai with egg (roti telur) with its dhal curry gravy.

Keropok lekor (deep fried fish crackers)

Hmmmm... dinner is only 5 hours away. Any suggestions? :)

Updated @ 8.30 pm

This was dinner.

Ais kacang merah (red bean ice)

Garlic steak, tender, juicy and tasty

Anon, i wish! Nay, i had to share. Hehe...

Wow!!! You eat so much? How do you maintain your hour glass figure??? That formerly-known-as-Kassim Rojak is so popularly that they now have an outlet in Kuching, along Abell Road!!!...and I don't like roti canai with egg! Tastes like omelette; would rather have one or the other!

Oh? You have to share? With your half-a-dozen kids??? Hahahahaha!!!

Yup, STP, that's how i maintain my 'hour-glass' figure. Lol. Rojak Kassim is now known as Rojak Udin purportedly because the son (Udin) was mad at the dad (Kassim) for remarrying.

Bengbeng, MAS corner (I only go there for its laksa) is at Kpg Dato, same block as the bak kut teh shop, occupying the other corner. Coming from direction of town, you can see the bak kut teh shop on your left after Kenanga Investment Bank but before CIMB (formerly Bumiputera Commerce Bank).

The rojak hindi can be found at the corner cafe opposite Star Cineplex. If you find it hard to get a parking space in town, you can go to the cafe opposite Ngiu Kee supermarket (next to the bank) which sells the same rojak hindi.

Haha.. happy treasure hunting!
