Being a student nowadays is not easy. Their time is fully packed with academic programmes at school, private tuition, piano, wushu (like Beng Beng's son, Beng Hui), bowling, etc.
Yeah, I do press my students to work hard but I also create opportunities for them to relax. Recently on one Saturday morning, thanks to some colleagues, we managed to organize a telematch for the kids. Well, they're not that small. Hehe...
It's especially for those 'kaki bangku', those who don't have a clue what competitive sports mean. Many of them are bookworms while a few boys are those hyperactive ones who seem to be in and out of the principal's office day in day out. Anyone could join in the fun based on '1st come 1st served' basis.
Anyway, at first the 'blow up the balloon and burst it with your bottom' game was held in the field to mitigate any serious injuries if someone was to fall. But apparently the ground was wet as it had rained the night before. So later, we switched to the badminton court.
One of the objectives was to foster a greater relationship among the different races. My students are mostly chinese but many of them showed they could be friendly towards the bumiputera students whom we invited from another school.

This is the problem of schools which have only one dominant race. Good thing they have this programme called 'RIMUP' or Rancangan Integrasi Murid Untuk Perpaduan (Integration of Students for Unity Programme) but sad to say some schools are not very supportive of it.
In a nutshell, everyone had a sensational time especially yours truly :PThe group that showed the best cooperation and won the highest point received a hamper. Can't post the picture here coz the name of my school was plastered across the banner and Suituapui would definitely point out to anyone who tries to guess which one I am!
So, that's all for now, folks! Hehe..

*sigh* STP, I was nearly coaxed into it. Hehe.. I don't think I've done anything wrong but then as they say, 1 man's meat is another man's poison. So better be safe than sorry. Tee hee..
BB, it's fun for onlookers like us but after the game, when the rubber bands were removed... all I can say is 'OUCH'! :P
